Shipping Terms

Shipping options:

  1. Standard international shipping – Send through Sri Lanka postal service. Deliveries will be taken up to 35 days from the order date.
  2. Express delivery – Send through EMS, UPS, Fedex or TNT as appropriate. Deliveries will be taken approximately 10 days from the order date.

Processing duration:

We need 2-5 days processing time to ship your order from Sri Lanka. The company keeps a minimal stock due to quality matters. A reasonable processing time is required to process orders due to unavailability of a large stock.

Customs Clearances:

We assume, the consignee meets with all government and other authority requirement to import the package in accordance with rules and regulations of the destination country. True Ceylon Spices does not responsible for any clearance issue at the destination. But, feel free to contact us if you need any help from our side.

Charges at the destination:

Our shipping cost does not include any customs duty or other charges at the destination. Unfortunately, Charges at the destination is out of our control. Consignee is responsible to pay any charges at the destination if applicable.

Unsuccessful Delivery:

We will proceed inquires for unsuccessful deliveries if the expected delivery time has been exceeded. The expected delivery duration are as follow.

Please contact us if you do not receive the item within given time frame. If the package has entered to your country within the time period given above, we may ask you to wait an additional time.


Refunds are as follows. Please send your complaint within 60 days from the order date.

  • Unsuccessful delivery:
    1. Unsuccessful delivery due to our failure – Full refund (including shipping) will be made
    2. Unsuccessful delivery due to customer’s failure and the item has returned back to us – 90%* of the order total excluding shipping charges will be refunded
    3. Unsuccessful delivery due to customer’s failure and the item is missing – No refund will made


  • Cancellation:
    1. Order is cancelled by us  – Full refund (including shipping) will be made
    2. Cancellation due to a request made by the customer (before dispatch) – 90 %* of the order total including shipping will be refunded (Refund or cancellation requests are not accepted for already shipped items)


  • Unsatisfactory:
    1. Unsatisfactory of the Customer –  The customer should send the package to our Sri Lankan address. Shipping charges for return shipping should be pay by the customer. The order amount excluding shipping will be paid when the item has successfully received to our warehouse in Sri Lanka.

*Unfortunately, we unable to refund the full amount due to unrecoverable transaction and processing, packing and handling fees.


If you change the mind about a purchase and want to return an item, you need to pay the return shipping cost and post the unopened and undamaged items within 60 days from the order date. Please provide us the re-shipment slip within 60 days.

Returns must be made in the original packaging and sent to the contact address mentioned on the contact page. Please contact us before send an item as return.
